Tramcast #013 - Thesiskin

Josh Rawlings / Mar 02, 2017

Over here at the Tram22 HQ we’ve been working hard to establish new contacts to bring you the freshest new music. Cosmic Pint Glass lead man Ben Mansfield reached out to us regarding his new digital release by Thesiskin, an outlet for Maricopa’s darker, more ambient works inspired by the surreal landscapes set out by Cormac McCarthy and H.P. Lovecraft in their works. Having made his debut back in 2012 on Tusk Wax Maricopa is notorious for his smooth, downtempo, Balearic cuts such as Patel Love – Part 1 [Back to the Balearics], The Possibility Of An Island [Fools & Fables Recordings] and more recently This Was Years Ago [La Luna] which is still up for grabs at Phonica.

Without further ado, here is the Thesiskin’s ambient mix with inspiration take from Solo Andata, BoC, Levantis, offthesky, Grails and D.Å.R.F.D.H.S. Take this evening to sit back and listen to the soothing sounds of Maricopa. We’re sure you won’t be disappointed.
